Dave Welsch performs all styles of music, specializing in Jazz, R&B, and Pop . His Musical Theater credits include Evita, Little Shop of Horrors,
Les Miserables, Chicago, Godspell, The Addams Family, Pippin, The Wiz, Sweet Charity, and many more.
He most recently recorded and toured with multiple Grammy Award winning artist, Victor Wooten, featured on Bass, Trumpet, Keyboards, and Vocals.
As an Educator, Dave has taught Private Lessons since 1979 and has been on the Management and Instructional Staff of Victor Wooten’s “Center For Music and Nature”
since its inception 15 years ago and at Steve Bailey’s ‘Bass at The Beach’ in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Dave instills a love of Music, appreciation for art forms, thirst for knowledge, and growth as an individual. Drawing on his experience teaching and performing
with some of the world’s most respected musicians, Dave offers students a unique perspective on music performance, theory, improvisation, and composition,
while creating a fun and exciting learning environment.
As a Personal or Group Coach, Dave shares 45+ years of perspective in Live Performance and the Music Business with clients.

Omar Hakim, Béla Fleck, Oteil Burbridge, Nate Watts, John Patitucci, Jason Scheff, Chuck Rainey, Rachel Z, Reggie Hamilton, Dennis Chambers,
Alphonso Johnson, Mike Gordon, and many more.
He worked as Management Assistant, Personal Assistant and Project Manager for 5-time Grammy Award winning Artist, Victor Wooten from 1998 to 2012.
He was Victor’s Tour Manager in 2005, 2007, and 2008.
Dave also maintains an active career as a Voice-Over artist and actor. He has been featured on commercials, instructional videos and promotional pieces
for major corporations and organizations.
As an accomplished Audio Editor, Dave has produced materials for hundreds of Figure Skating programs, radio promotional pieces, news features and long form radio programs.
DayGig Music is equipped with ProTools 12, Logic Pro 10.1, M-Audio Controllers, Yamaha and Samson Monitors, and MXL and Berringer microphones.
Dave played Fodera, Warwick, Fender, and Danelectro Bass Guitars as well as a 1950 Kay Upright Bass.
